No shame here. We've all done it, but it's time to get educated.

Did you know that the State University of New York did a study of bottled water and found 93% of them were contaminated with microplastics?

Microplastics negatively affect fertility, cognitive and vascular health as well as digestive and skin health. They also contribute to obesity since they are obesogens.

Microplastics can even enter the blood, lymphatic system, and kidneys.

Is your doctor/practitioner re-evaluating what you take at every appointment?

It drives me nuts when I bring a client into my practice or even talk with a friend or family member and they say they've been taking X supplement for over a year.

It is frustrating when I hear that a doctor/practitioner keeps adding new supplements to the patient's regimen but never takes any away.

It saddens me when I hear about a doctor/practitioner, who has never taken the time to total up all of the nutrients across each supplement the patient is taking?

They could be overdosing on some nutrients!

Taking supplements HAS to be managed wisely and have some oversight from a trained professional because they can cause long-term damage when taken incorrectly.

Furthermore, some doctors and practitioners are trained to know various contraindications of combining certain supplements or how long to take certain nutrients, and more.

They need to be taking the time to apply their expertise for the best outcome for the patient!

Non-toxic cleaning is something I have been passionate about for over a decade.

It was astounding to find out years ago that the solutions I was using for "cleaning," or so I thought, were literally poison to the body. From endocrine disruptors to chemicals that cause neurological disorders, there was no way on my healing journey that I wanted to keep using those to clean.

In fact, did you know that the EPA declared indoor air pollution to be 2-5 times higher than outdoor pollution?!? Shocking!

Drinking coffee is a hygge ritual for me. ☕

In order to be sure I'm serving my body in healthy ways while drinking coffee, I am sure to choose the healthiest coffee around.

My favorite coffee is organic, low acid, mold free, heavy metal free, herbicide and pesticide free and is third parry tested multiple times.

In my weekend cup of comfort, I use a super food, non-daiy creamer and raw local honey. If I could drink dairy, I would be using raw organic cream.

Making it with 9.5pH water bring the acid down even lower than it already is!

Putting Hashimoto's into remission is not just about diet.

Hashimoto's Thyroiditis is a complex autoimmune disease that CAN be put into remission and it is possible to live a symptom-free, high-quality life!

There is always hope.

More often than not, I see women trying to beat this chronic illness by just addressing their diet. They change up foods, eliminate food groups, and often limit food choices a lot.

The little choices we make every day add up and they can either contribute to a healthy body or break it down.

You might choose bottled water because it's less expensive than molecular hydrogen water.

But at what future cost?

You might choose the doctor who takes insurance and won't do what you need them to do because their hands are tied by insurance.

But at what cost?

You might choose to stay at the job you hate, which is affecting your mental health because it's too daunting to do something different.

But at what cost?

There is no shaming in this post, just tough love.

The choices we make daily DO affect our physical body and eventually, the physical cost, emotional cost, financial cost and spiritual cost will catch up to you.
