The Hawaiian Pineapple Banana Frosty {Banana Joe’s Copycat}
If you’ve ever been to Kauai, it’s no secret that Banana Joe’s is a popular fruit stand to visit. Not only is it a fruit stand that sells delicious tropical fruit, but they also make the most refreshing, creamy, two-ingredient frosty’s there. If you’re planning a trip to Kauai you definitely don’t want to miss this place! It’s on the north side of the island in Kilauea.
However, just in case Kauai and Banana Joe’s is not in your near future, I have created a whole food, frosty so you can have the taste of The Islands here! It’s literally two ingredients and one of the quickest desserts you can make.
I must confess that these frosty’s were so dang good that we went twice to get them.
Banana Joes’ combines frozen bananas and pineapples and then runs them through a juicer to get this delectable dessert. It’s so easy.
A Couple Kitchen Tools That Will This Recipe a Cinch
- Many years ago when I changed my diet and lifestyle, one of the things we added to our kitchen was a juicer. It has become one of my most prized appliances and I use it all the time. This is the one I have. It’s extremely easy to clean, very sturdy and fairly quiet.
- If you don’t have a juicer, then you could probably use a Blend Tec or Vitamix blender. I have a Vitamix and use it every single day. It’s a great addition to your kitchen. *I have not tried to make this recipe in my Vitamix but I bet it’ll work.
