Feasting On Joy is proud to partner with a non-profit organization called Operation Underground Railroad! They are doing an unbelievable job rescuing and rehabilitating children who are being trafficked for sex. This industry (makes us sick to even call it that) is shocking. What the children from around age 3+ have to go through is nothing short of horrific.
Tim Ballard who is the founder of O.U.R and a former government special agent, has a passion for rescuing these innocent victims who are being robbed of their lives. He has an outstanding team of former CIA, Navy Seals and Special Ops that literally have given up their life comforts to find children to pluck them out of this trade and tragedy.
Two of the things we love most about O.U.R
The first is that they work WITH law enforcement of the countries they go into (including the US) to teach them technology and give them a deep understanding of how to do a successful sting. They give these countries the tools they need to continue rescues even when the Operation Underground Railroad team isn’t there.
The second is that they will not even go into a country to do an operation or rescue unless a rehabilitation program is set in place. They strongly believe that a child who is rescued must have a place to be safe and heal. O.U.R comes along side the country to help set up these safe houses.

Any Little Bit Helps
Would you like to donate to O.U.R to help their cause? If you watched the video above you will see that even $5 helps them. There is no amount too little. Everything helps. If you can’t donate there are also ways to give of your time and volunteer. You can click on their website link to learn about that. If you volunteer it would be to help out with booths, putting together baskets, administrative work, etc.
We have made it easy to give to this amazing organization. All you have to do is click the “donate” button and you will be able to donate via paypal. We will be collecting donations all year and submitting a check to O.U.R every 6 months. Also, since they are a 501(c)3 your donation will be tax deductible!
Since we love O.U.R and what they do so much we also plan to do giveaways, auctions and raffles throughout the year for healthy things that we love, to raise money for this cause!
If you have children we want you to think about what it would be like if you woke up one day and your child wasn’t there. You didn’t know where he or she was. How would you feel? What would you do? Even if you don’t have children of your own there are children in your lives one way or another. Maybe you’re an aunt or an uncle or a teacher? Children are precious and they are miracles from the Lord and deserve to be protected. We ask you to help us help them in any way you can. Let’s abolish this slavery!
