I find that statement pretty interesting since I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s less than a year after I had my first child. Interestingly, growing a human being in your womb takes A LOT of nutrition and often leaves the mother lacking in her vitamin and mineral needs for her body.
Nutrition and Hashimoto’s
Looking back to years ago, deficiencies were exactly my problem. It was one of my root causes of Hashimoto’s Disease. Addressing my nutrient deficiencies at the time would have allowed me to heal my body and in turn, heal my thyroid. Of course, I still would have had to address the other root cause of my Hashimoto’s (my root canals) in order to stop the antibody attack on the gland. Unfortunately, if I would have addressed my nutrient deficits early on, I would not have lost my two babies.
