Whole Food ONLY- Nut Butter Protein Shake

A nourishing, whole food shake chock full of good fat, clean protein and vitamins and minerals to start your day!
  • ½ Avocado
  • ¼ c. Nut Butter (we use almond but you can use any kind you prefer. By the way, peanut butter doesn't count - peanuts are legumes not nuts.) *Can sub sunbutter for a nut free variation.
  • 1-1½ c. Milk (use only raw milk if tolerated, homemade nut milk, or coconut milk.)
  • 2 Tlbs. Collagen Hydrolysate
  • 1 Organic Banana
  • 3 Tlbs. Raw Local Honey
  • ½ c. ice
  1. Put all ingredients in a Vitamix and blend until smooth.
To make this a really rich almost dessert like treat add 2 tablespoons gluten free carob powder or organic fair trade dark cocoa powder. Decadent!
