DIY Bathroom Cleaning Kit with Essential Oils
One reason cleaning your house can be frustrating and inconvenient is because there are often supplies all over the house rather than in one central location. This means when it’s time to clean, you have to spend time searching and gathering your cleaning supplies before you begin. It doesn’t have to be this way.
Did you know that 95% of women feel better when their home is clean?
I wanted to offer you this DIY Bathroom Cleaning Kit to help you make cleaning your home simpler and quicker which will allow you to feel better about it!
Cleaning the bathroom is already somewhat of a mundane task that no one really wants to do, right? However, the job HAS to be done and someone has to do it. I am going to show you that by making a DIY Bathroom Cleaning Kit with Essential Oils for every bathroom in your house you will cut down the time it takes to clean the bathroom as well as eliminate the toxins that usually come from storebought cleaning products. Additionally, this effective cleaning kit only uses ingredients that are completely safe and non-toxic which means that your kiddos can use it to clean too! I don’t know about you, but if I can hand off a household chore to my children, it makes for a very happy mom.
The All-In-One Kit That Makes Bathroom Cleaning Rewarding
Is there really such a thing as feeling rewarded after cleaning your bathroom? I venture to say, yes! Honestly, because I clean with essential oils, I really enjoy it because of the health benefits I get from the essential oils and because they smell so lovely. Essential oils always boost my mood and when cleaning a bathroom and that’s really important! Plus, the peace I have as a mom, knowing my family is safe using all the cleaners and no harm will come to them, is priceless.
Make Cleaning Your Bathroom Convenient
Placing a bathroom cleaning kit in every bathroom of your home will make it extremely convenient to clean when the need arises. As a result, your bathrooms will get cleaned more often and you won’t have to spend any time gathering supplies or traipsing dripping bathroom sponges and brushes from one room to another. Ewww!
Personally, I have a kit in every bathroom of my home under each bathroom sink. It’s literally one of the best hacks I have done for cleaning! Each kit has everything I need to clean the bathroom from cleaning solutions to brushes, cloths and drying towels. I have also included bathroom cleaning instructions in each kit so if my kids are doing the cleaning, they’ll know what to do.
How to Make Your Own DIY Bathroom Cleaning Kit with Essential Oils
Keep one kit in every bathroom in your home to make bathroom cleaning convenient, quick and effective.
Supplies You’ll Need (for one kit)
- 1 Basket or Container (I like the mesh kind so the wet sponges and brushes have airflow to dry)
- 2 Pairs of Gloves (I like to include smaller gloves that fit kids and one adult pair of gloves)
- 2 Sponges with an abrasive side (I like to label one sponge with a big black “T” with a sharpie. That one’s used for the toilet only)
- 1 Bathtub cleaning brush
- 2 Microfiber cloths (one for wet and one to dry)
- 1 Pumice Stone
- 1 Old Toothbrush
- 1 Bottle of Essential Oil Toilet Bowl Cleaner
- 1 Bottle of Essential Oil Germ Away Spray
- 1 Bottle of Essential Oil Window Cleaner
- 1 Jar of Essential Oil Scrubbing Paste
- 1 Laminated Kit Supply Checklist (to keep track of the items that should be in the kit — download checklist by clicking below)
- 1 Laminated Cleaning Kit instructions (download by clicking below)
*By the way, this is my favorite laminator!
